Will, Happy New Year! Your podcasts are getting better and better. I am very embarrassed. I think that your Chinese is better than mine. You are making me run to catch up. That’s okay, though. That’s what being a leader is all about and you are definitely a leader. That reminds me of a song that we used to sing when I was your age:

“We’re following the leader, the leader, the leader, We’re following the leader, wherever he may go. We won’t be home ’til morning, ’til morning, ’til morning, We won’t be home ’til morning, my leader told me so!”

You are my leader, Will. lead on, and don’t let me down. You are the hope of future mornings :)

    Saludos!

Thanks Bob. I really apprecaite your comments. I am sure my Chinese is not as good as yours. How long have you been learning?

  5. Bob Mrotek says:

Will, I started learning Chinese in 1965. That is over 40 years ago. I am still not very good at it. I guess I am a slow learner. You seem to learn Chinese very fast. That is wonderful. It is a very good thing to become bilingual…not just for communication purposes, but to have a better understanding of other people who live in this big wide wonderful world of ours. You have a great attitude Will, and that is a necessary thing if you want to be successful at anything. You can actually choose to be great. Stay on the sunny side of life :)

    Hasta luego,

    Mexico Bob

    Hi Weili,

I was wondering if your town many Chinese people? Melbourne has lots of Chinese people, and I used to live in San Francisco, California which has a very famous Chinatown.

I learn Chinese because I have an interest in languages, and of course it’s not hard to see Chinese will be a useful language in the future. I now have lots of Chinese friends which is good motivation to keep practicing.

I look forward to the next show.

    Cheers,

    Colin

Weili, you are sooo good at Chinese! I have not been learning that long, but still you are better than me. I hope that I can study enough to become as good as you are. Do you live in China? I think that would be fun. Also, zhu ni shengri kuai le!

  8. weili says:
